Lake Baikal

Toursmoto staff member will meet you at Irkutsk Airport (IKT) and transfer to the city of Irkutsk. Then, you will have time to freshen up at the hotel and have some rest. After lunch, you have an option to walk through the city with a guide.

Later on, you will receive your bike and have some time to test it. In the evening, you will have a welcome dinner with all tour participants including guides and the mechanic

After breakfast, you will get your bikes and at 9:00 a.m. you’ll start. You will drive for some time along the Irkutsk – Ulan-Ude Highway. At lunch, you will stop at the cafe to taste smoked omul, the delicious local fish. The quality of the road is good.

In the evening, you will get to the guesthouse on the shore of Baikal Lake.

Today, you will ride the picturesque road with magnificent views. Arriving at the capital of Buryatia, you will examine the monument listed in the Guinness Book of Records – the huge head of V.I. Lenin.

Then, you will arrive at the center of Buddhism in Russia – Ivolginsk. This is the place where the imperishable body of the famous Lama Itigelov, which leads the world scientific community to the dead-end. The road will be asphalt and crushed stone.

This day, you will start rather early. After 100 kilometers drive on the highway, you will move back to the shore of Lake Baikal and will drive along the Baikal up to the end of the route. You will stop several times to make magnificent photos. The road along the Baikal Lake is partly asphalt, partly gravel.

After breakfast, make a radial trip to the Holy Nose Peninsula, the largest peninsula of Baikal, the cult place of shamans (Trans-Baikal Natural Park). In the second half of a day, head towards the resort of Goryachinsk.

You will swim in the Baikal Lake there and will visit the hot springs with a temperature of 55 degrees. You will experience the magnificent contrast of cold Baikal and hot springs.

This day is a special day. You will experience an eight-hour trip on a ship to Olkhon Island. During the lake trip, you will see wonderful pictures of a huge Lake Baikal. In the second part of the day, you will drive a little to your guesthouse.

The morning begins with a nutritious breakfast. You will have a couple of days to rest on the island. On this day, you will make several radial trips around the island. Olkhon is the largest of 26 islands on Baikal.

Here are the unique and amazingly beautiful landscapes. Most of the coast and its environs were not influenced by civilization and remained in their original form, unchanged for thousands of years. You will examine the bays, beaches, bays of the island.

Today, if you wish, you will make some short rides not far from the accommodation. The rest of the day will be free and you can have rest in the resort. The mechanics will do a complete motorcycle maintenance. The following night, you will spend in the same hotel.

In the morning, leave the island by ferry and drive along the coastal ridge admiring the coastal beauties. You will stop at a historical village founded in the 17th century and have accommodation there.

This is the final day of your trip, so you would spend time on Lake Baikal as long as possible. Visit the Baikal Museum. The farewell evening will be spent on the Great Lakes, in the place where the Angara originates

You will have a closing dinner, where you will be able to spend time pleasantly and share your thoughts about the tour. All participants will be awarded with certificates and special souvenirs from the head guide of Toursmoto Company.

After an early breakfast and saying goodbye, a staff member will transfer you to the airport. Toursmoto Company wishes you a good flight.
